I booked my holiday last night! I'm off to sunny Spain! I've never really had any intention of going to Spain until now, but who can turn down a bargain holiday?! We've rented out this cute little apartment for the week which i'm so excited about. Of course the first thing that springs to mind is how i've got to start shopping for all my new clothes to take, which is the most exciting bit. I'll probably do it online though on ASOS because I haven't seen any summer clothes in the shops yet. I normally always forget an item of clothing when I go abroad though, and need to be more organised this time.

Ellen Von Unwerth

Ciao! Edie

I absolutley love Edie Sedgwick. For those who dont know her, she was the artist, Andy Warhols muse. She is the girl who inspired 60's fashion with her long chandellier earrings, fake eyelashes and short dresses. Sienna Miller recently played her in the hit film, 'Factory Girl' which is now one of my favourite films ever. Edies story is one of tragedy however when she falls into the drug scene and so many years later, takes an overdose. I recently brought a book on her, 'Edie: Girl on Fire', which features amazing photographs and quotes from Edie herself and the people who knew her.

Aussie Talent

I was flicking through a magazine when I saw the headline, 'Amy Winehouse- without the tattoos'. Being a fan of Amy I took notice and read on. A new Australian singer, Gabriella Cilmi (pronounced chill-me) has released a catchy single, 'Sweet about me'. Although it doesnt particularly sound like Amy Winehouse, it's still a good tune and worth a download.

Kitch Cameras

I'm just loving these cool, retro cameras at the moment and I'm purchasing the Diana+ as soon as I get my pay cheque next week! If you love the dreamy, 60's look on a photograph, this camera is for you. It comes with lots of added extras that the original didn't have back in the day and looks stylish in a hazelnut coloured case. It comes at a very cheap price of 40.00, which I think is a bargain. Not only is the price attractive, but the actual camera itself is gorgeous.

Check out the other cameras on offer such as the Fisheye camera and the Holga which comes in many varieties to suit you. These cameras are for you if you love photography and want to recreate a quirky, eccentric look to everyday life.

London Fashion Weekend

This blog is for all the girls out there who share my passion for fashion, photography, music and film.

I will be keeping this blog up to date with my latest obsessions starting with number 1...

London Fashion Weekend.

I managed to go to the weekend version last Saturday and I loved it. I'd recommend it to any girl with an interest in fashion. I expected to see lots of mean, pushy, stuck-up girls, head to toe in designer labels, big hair and lots of make up. Thankfully, I was wrong. There were people of all ages, most all dressed casually. I even managed to get my boyfriend and best male friend to tag along. It's besides the point that they got bored half way through and went to the Natural History Museum, right next door. The point I'm making is that they volunteered to go, even though they have no interest in fashion, which is sweet of them. The catwalk which was presented by a woman named Carol, (if anyone knows who she is, please let me know!) which featured style tips from the guys at Toni & Guy and the legendary Gok Wan! All in all, it was a good day out, and even came home with a canvas goody bag packed full of products from the sponsers; Toni & Guy, Chambord, Grazia Magazine etc. Well worth a visit.
